“Aim Small, Miss Small"

The Everyman Challenge Leadership Luncheon Fundraiser is integrated with our signature “Aim Small, Miss Small" team competition event. Think “Golf Fundraiser" but 10x cooler! (Unless your last golf outing let you throw stuff from a helicopter!)

This is your chance to have fun in a unique and friendly competition. You will be put on a team of two competing against other teams of two and will get the opportunity to prove you're the best among all the teams. Come as an individual or bring a friend to form a team or part of a team. This year's event will consist of at least 4 stations - A M1A SOCOM, a Cannon, a Bulldozer, and a Helicopter!

Our Speaker

Some men become known for what they accomplish. Others become known for who they become.

Spencer Patton has experienced both.

While many recognize Spencer as a former Major League Baseball pitcher, World Series Champion, and Team USA athlete, the roles he values most are husband, father, and follower of Jesus Christ.

For more than a decade, Spencer competed at the highest levels of professional baseball, pitching in Major League Baseball, playing internationally in Japan, and representing Team USA on the world stage. Yet through every season, every success, and every challenge, his greatest priority remained leading his family and faithfully following Christ.

Spencer and his wife, Jiletta, are raising three children and understand firsthand the challenges men face as they seek to lead their homes well in a culture constantly pulling them in other directions. When their oldest child was diagnosed with unilateral hearing loss, Spencer and his family stepped into advocacy and service, helping other families navigate similar challenges and serving through Hearing the Call, a nonprofit organization providing hearing healthcare to underserved communities both domestically and abroad.

His life is a powerful reminder that true leadership is not measured by championships, titles, influence, or achievements. It is measured by faithfulness.

For years, Spencer has been a trusted friend and partner of Everyman Challenge because he shares the same conviction we do:

Strong families need strong men.

Strong churches need strong men.

Strong communities need strong men.

And strong men are formed through surrender to Jesus Christ, authentic brotherhood, and a willingness to embrace the calling God has placed on their lives.

At this year’s Leadership Luncheon, Spencer will share lessons learned from professional sports, family life, adversity, faith, and leadership. More importantly, he will challenge us to consider what it truly means to win in the areas that matter most.

Because at the end of the day, championships fade.

Statistics are forgotten.

Careers eventually end.

But your wife remembers how you loved her.

Your children remember how you led them.

And eternity remembers whether you were faithful.

Join us for an afternoon of leadership, brotherhood, and vision as we hear from a man who has competed on some of the world’s biggest stages, yet understands that the greatest legacy a man leaves is not what he accomplished, but who he became.

The Food

And of course…There will be a meal fit for a man. A leadership luncheon is nothing without great food. So we are planning an incredible catered lunch with steak, chicken and some delicious sides. Good food, shared with good company will make this a luncheon you don't want to miss.

Every man embracing the life-long adventure of loving God completely – Heart, Soul, Mind, Strength. Revolutionizing the church from the inside out, one man at a time.

Guys are bored, tired, and disconnected. Many seem to be winning at life but still feel like something is missing.

This leadership event will encourage and inspire you as a man and a leader, but it will also help generate needed funds as the ministry of the Everyman Challenge expands around the country and the world.

At this leadership development and fundraising event you will enjoy:

  • Challenging and inspiring leadership insights from Spencer Patton, a former MLB pitcher, World Series Champion, Team USA athlete, and a husband, father, and follower of Jesus Christ.

  • “Aim Small, Miss Small” – Where strategy meets the thrill of competing in our epic challenges. This year’s event will consist of at least 4 stations – A M1A SOCOM, a Cannon, a Bulldozer, and a Helicopter!
